Background: Excessive thrunk flexion, medial knee movement and ankle dorsiflexion during lunge are considered devitions from commonly descriced good technique. The aim of this paper was to utilise Microsoft Kinect to determine whether hip extension torque was related to thrunk, knee and ankle kinematics during the walking forward lunge.
